Luminiferous Luna turns a staggering 21 years old today (Tuesday, March 29). We’d say she deserves at least a 21-pie salute and a shower of flowers on the March “Happy Birthday!” Thread.

Just a quick reminder, for those who haven’t discovered it yet, that there’s much more Muserly miscellanea at musemagkids.com.

For those just tuning in, Cleverbot is an upgrade of Jabberwacky, described on Wikipedia as “a chatterbot created by British programmer Rollo Carpenter. Its stated aim is to “simulate natural human chat in an interesting, entertaining and humorous manner”. It is an early attempt at creating an artificial intelligence through human interaction.” It can be found, cleverly enough, at cleverbot.com. More information available on Wikipedia under the topic “Jabberwacky.”

Errata proposed this thread, to popular acclaim. We GAPAs don’t really understand it don’t understand it at all, but that has never kept threads from working in the past. Here’s the description:

You think of creative reasons that wasting time is actually constructive, and type them all out! If we wanted to, we could also expand it into actually getting the jobs, as in people create mock jobs, others apply for them, and then the creator gets to chose one, based on their application. Then… Oh! Maybe we could have ‘Job Points’ or something similar, that you get when you get a job! Okay, that’s my idea. *beams*
