Happy 444th Birthday, William Shakespeare!

We’re not sure who you were or how you did it, but you sure could do it. If you were who you said you were, then you were born sometime near this date in 1564 (or at any rate were christened three days later). And 444 is four times eleventy-one, which has got to be good, no?

Useful Muse Academy Links and Information

It seems like a good time to collect these in one place for the benefit of newcomers and the terminally confused (i.e., everybody).

*The Coontz House song is officially unofficial until something better comes along. It’s pretty good, though, so that may take a while.

May Day Ball — Organizing Committee

The ball, like Muse Academy, exists in the Musiverse, not the universe. But that’s never stopped us before. Planning has already begun on the Hare-athon random thread. Let’s shift it here.

Hare-athon: The Penultimate Lap (or Leap) (or Lapin)

Continued above.

Just two more to go. Looks as if we’re going to make it, as the curtain rises…

Logging the Blog

We’ve added a few Categories used for classifying threads and have reorganized the list a little. It will take a while for us to update the classification of old threads.

You can help! If you spot a thread that needs to be reclassified (RRRs, etc., are particularly ripe for it), just post its name and URL here. Thanks!

Grant’s Film Strip Project

The Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman sent us a couple of sound files for his film project. We haven’t had time to convert them to MP3 format, so we can’t be sure you’ll be able to play them until you report in. Here they are:

film2.wav

NEW! Treble_Cone_Freeskier (who now seems to be spelling her name “Trebel_Cone_Freeskier”) has taken Midnight Fiddler’s storyboards and turned them into a real, honest-to-goodness film strip.
