Life, the universe, pies, hot-pink bunnies, world domination, and everything
Just upstairs from the ball, dancers will fine peace and quiet (sometimes) and a lovely moonlit view of the North Atlantic Ocean. Continued from Part 1.
A perennially popular series of threads in which MBers vent their frustrations and display their creativity by abusing the blog’s favorite scapegoat, . It really does seem to make people feel better.
Continued from Dissing Mr. Joe, Again.
A leporine role-playing game of surpassing violence, continued from Part 1.
The idyll continues from Part 8.

This isn’t Muse-related, but it’s worth knowing:
Today, the journal Nature publishes the first map of the platypus genome. It turns out that this strange and wonderful animal is strange and wonderful on the inside, too. Google “platypus genome” to find out more (and notice how artfully news reporters avoid writing the plural of “platypus”).
By overwhelming popular demand.
Let’s not put the Girl Scouts out of business, though. Some of their cookies are flamablamablous.

*Kitty says “Have a happy magazine birthday!”
A flamablamablous natal anniversary to the poet, mom, and sometime chicken farmer who has given humanity Ble, Notscape, and Screamazon.eek (not to mention a much-needed sneer at birthday cards that exploit the cuteness of kittens). Hirbday, Nak! Hopegood! Youyay!
Who’s your Muse?
Suggested by The Man For Aeiou, who describes it this way: “remember the feature from 2003ish in the mag? like that, only for Muses of us artist, writers, Etc. What’s POSOC’s Muse like? Who’s Alice’s? what about the rest of the MBers?”
Just upstairs from the ballroom: fresh air and a respite from dancing and music.

It’s the biggest event of the academic year — a celebration of light and warmth and spring and youth and (who knows?) romance, awaited all winter, longed for, laboriously prepared for, and now, at long last, here. The decorations are up, the food is ready, the musicians are practiced, rested, and in tune.
The ball lasts just a few hours in Musiverse time but might take all month to unfold in blog time. And before it begins, we hear, a very special event is scheduled to take place.
Now, in true RPG spirit, the rest is up to you…
*Round-Robin ‘Riting.
Requested by The Man for Aeiou and La Mort, La Vie, L’Amour. You’ll have to ask them what they have in mind; it’s a mystery to us!
