Continued from No. 7.
It’s been ages since the last homeschooling thread. We deem it high time for another place to discuss life outside the educational system.
Script Frenzy (a.k.a. “Screnzy”) is in full swing. Those who are taking part already know all about it. For those who aren’t,

Continuing its year-long trek through space and time, this month’s Random Thread celebrates Elizabethan England. (In Edmund Spenser’s epic poem The Faerie Queene, the character Gloriana represented Queen Elizabeth I.)
In keeping with our theme of tomfoolery, this thread is reserved for pure randomness, pointless posts, and non sequiturs.
Any attempt to have a reasonable, intelligent conversation on this thread will be zapped.

If you’re new on the blog, please stop by this thread and say pie — er, hi.

Why do we so love our lovely lists?
1. They’re fun.
2. They’re a way to pretend one is organized.
3. They look nice.
4. They satisfy one’s sense of order and futility all at the same time.
5. They give one a sense of accomplishment even while procrastinating
6. They look like they mean something.
7. They’re full of Muserly froodiness.

Script Frenzy (a.k.a. “Screnzy”) is fast approaching. A quick self-description:
Script Frenzy is an international writing event in which participants take on the challenge of writing 100 pages of scripted material in the month of April.
